Welcome to Mrs. Donald's Class!!

Well so far we are having a fun and busy time at school.  I just thought that I would add a little information about myself so here is a little bit about me... 

This is my 13th year teaching and I have been fortunate to have spent all of them here at CJS.  Grade one is a wonderful year for parents and children and I have to admit that I feel lucky to be part of the magic of watching kids learn to read.  It is what keeps me coming back each year!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time reading and playing board games with my family (my husband Jamie and I are currently obsessed with the game Ticket to Ride).  I enjoy spending time using the community trail either running, biking or walking.  During the winter months, I love to spend time cross country skiing on the local trails and downhill whenever we have the chance to get to the mountains.  My one and only son turns 17 this year and will be graduating from school!! This is almost unbelievable for me as it just seems like yesterday when he was in grade one.
